You can help save the family of a wounded hero living near you
Severely wounded troops and their families face financial crisis!
Dear Patriotic American,
My name is Major General John K. Singlaub, U.S. Army (Ret.), and I'm proud to be helping the Coalition to Salute America's Heroes deliver emergency financial aid to severely wounded GIs and their families.
I parachuted into Nazi-occupied France to prepare French Resistance fighters for the D-Day invasion, served as supreme commander of all U.S. troops in South Korea, and performed intelligence missions in Vietnam. So I’m sure you can understand why I’m such a staunch defender of our men and women who have been severely wounded in Iraq or Afghanistan.
I’m sure you share my sense of loyalty and dedication to our disabled heroes and their families.
Right now, all across this great nation, thousands of seriously injured Marines, soldiers, sailors and airmen desperately need your help. Many have been severely burned, blinded, paralyzed or suffered from other disabling injuries, so they find it almost impossible to work or get by on disability pay, which takes more than a year, on average, to begin.
Thousands of spouses who were previously able to work have lost their jobs in the recession or have had to quit their jobs to care for them. So now these families are wondering if they’re going to lose their homes or cars or get their utilities disconnected.
Others are unable to provide their families with food, clothes and other necessities.
When faced with such a critical mission, I put my trust in the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes, and I hope you will, too. The Coalition is an excellent nonprofit organization that has already responded with emergency aid and other support services to over 21,000 cases from disabled troops and their families. So far we have dedicated more than $24 million in aid and other program services to our wounded heroes.
The Coalition has prepared two ways for you to continue your efforts for wounded heroes and their families.
ONE: You can click here to send them a "THANK YOU and GET WELL card" to let them know you respect and honor their sacrifice.
TWO: You can click here to make a tax-deductible emergency financial donation.
Your gift will be rushed to a severely wounded serviceman or woman who needs your help right now to stave off an eviction, utility cutoff, car repossession or other disaster.
Please give generously. They were there for us and now it’s out turn to be there for them.
