Salute Our Heroes this Veterans Day

Major Gen John K. SinglaubDear Patriotic American,

My name is Major General John K. Singlaub, U.S. Army (Ret.).

I parachuted into Nazi-occupied France during WWII to prepare French Resistance fighters for the Allied invasion, trained Chinese guerrillas for operations against the Japanese, ran covert operations against the North Koreans and the Chinese, and commanded all U.S. Special Operations Forces in Southeast Asia.

Now I’m working with the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes, an excellent nonprofit organization that provides emergency aid to our troops who have been severely wounded in Iraq or Afghanistan.

As the patriotic Veterans Day holiday approaches, thousands of our seriously injured troops and their families desperately need your help.

Many of those who have been severely burned, blinded, paralyzed or lost limbs are too disabled to work.  Nearly half their spouses have quit their jobs to care for them.

And because of the lingering recession, thousands of spouses who WERE able to work have lost their jobs.   So now these families are wondering if they’re going to lose their homes or cars or get their utilities disconnected.

Others desperately need food and clothes for their children.

So please make a special Veterans Day donation right now.

You can also send a THANK YOU and GET WELL card to show your patriotic support to a disabled serviceman or woman and let them know their sacrifice hasn’t been forgotten.

So far the Coalition has responded to more than 21,000 cases of emergency financial aid and other support services to our severely wounded troops and their families in crisis.

But more wounded heroes are returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan each week and they urgently need help.

Won’t you join our patriotic family of supporters?

Please give generously.

They were there for us and now it’s out turn to be there for them.
